2022 — that’s a wrap!

At EM, we love a good reflection. It gives us the opportunity to see our progress, celebrate our successes, and wonder why we didn’t come up with Wordle. (It’s SO SIMPLE!)

And, looking back, we can finally realise just how much of a MASSIVE year it’s been.

But, before we switch off the lights for the final time this year, we want to share some of our top highlights with you — as well as a message from our CEO, Tim. All you have to do is hit play, sit back, and enjoy!

.FAR OUT.

That was a lot. And you made it happen! Yep, you — the person reading this right now. Because whether you’re one of our collaborators, a member of the team, or just an Everyday Massive supporter, we couldn’t do any of this without you. So thank you. Thank you for your support, your care, and your challenges. We loved them all.

But, hey, don’t just take our word for it. Check out what some of our EMers said when asked about their favourite projects this year.

Elizabeth Tucker, Head of Experience
I’ve worked with Laura and the Laminex team across multiple projects this year. Each time, Laura came with a clear vision, and it was always an exciting (sometimes daunting) challenge to bring it to life. She constantly pushes for greatness, and together we create work that our team is very proud of. It’s such a pleasure working with people who genuinely walk the talk when it comes to the employee experience. We feel like an extended part of the Laminex team, and it makes us so proud when we see the work out in the wild.

Thom Rogers, Copywriter
I'd have to go back to the start of this year when we worked with Danielle Odd at Nine Entertainment on the Safety Brand and Narrative. Danielle was always engaged with our work, and watching her light up as we presented ideas made the project even more enjoyable. I always enjoy the thrill of coming up with creative ideas, but Danielle made delivering them just as fun. I think we did some exceptional work that really suited Nine Entertainment. And while the creative approach we went with was certainly my favourite (No Dramas), I also loved the other concepts.

Jess Daly, Head of Strategy
In the last quarter of this year, we had the pleasure of working with the team at nbn on a couple of safety campaigns for their employees, delivery partners and 10,000+ contractors. We always love it when we work with collaborators who are open to ideas and trying different approaches, and it was certainly that way with Grace, Rach, Cade and Peta. Together, we built the Connecting Safely brand and made evergreen campaigns with micro-learning experiences to reinforce the knowledge. We're excited to see where this collaboration will take us all in 2023.

Kyle Bennett, Experience Strategist

I loved working with Andrea and Dee from Coles this year to develop the Coles R U OK day campaign. They're the dynamic duo of Coles safety, health and wellbeing, and legends to work with. We took a unique but effective approach to mental health communications. I really loved how the team at Coles advocated for us to do something different and were bold enough to choose a creative direction that pushed the boundaries.

And now, a message from our CEO, Tim Evans:
2022 has been a huge year at Everyday Massive. As we wrap up and reflect on everything we’ve accomplished over the past 12 months — both as a team and with our collaborators — there’s a lot that makes us proud. We had the good fortune to continue delivering exceptional work with our existing collaborators, as well as some lovely new faces. We partnered with Coles to reimagine safety conversations. We developed Working at Height and Driver Safety campaigns with Ventia that spread across the industry. We helped nbn continue to connect safely, Laminex employees find their future, and Kestrel implement a truly connected leadership program. And much, much more. (77 massive projects in total!)

Beyond the work, we’ve shared some incredible moments as a team — including cultural events such as the Bec Scully Memorial Cup, a wellness day at Ella’s Farm, and our massive end-of-year offsite at the Barn (which saw a billy cart derby unlike any other).

To all of our collaborators, our suppliers, the team, and everyone else who made it such a great year, thank you. We can’t wait to keep going in 2023!
